Video: 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb “Monster” Tajima vs. Rhys Millen vs. The Mountain

Millen interview I

Ten Minutes doesn't seem like such a long time, but it can be an eternity when flying skywards in a custom built race car with about 800 HP up one of the America's tallest mountains.

The 88th annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs has two longtime racers battling it out to get to the summit first.  The battle this year at America's second oldest race is Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima vs. Rhys Millen vs. the mountain…but who will win?

Monster interview II

Can either man make it up the 156-turn, 12.42-mile course to the 14,110-foot summit of Pikes Peak in under ten minutes and break into the 9's?

That's the dream that both men will soon be chasing as they try to cheat death by concurring the mountain this weekend in Colorado.
