When you think of leading edge car design you probably don't think of former "Posh" Spice Girl Victoria Beckham but perhaps you should?
At the recent Kensington Palace unveiling of the new front wheel drive Range Rover Evoque, (see video below) Beckham was on hand to help roll out the car.
Her official title: Land Rover's new creative design executive, or something of the sort.
Anybody, who is anybody in London social circus attended the event so it made for seriously ritzy evening.
Which of course is all grand but the jury is still out on how successful Land Rover will be selling a small front wheel drive SUV. The Evoque is the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient luxury SUV that Land Rover
has so far built and yes it will also be available in a all wheel drive version.
Not many details were exposed at the gala event except that Beckham wore a rather tight skin colored dress.
We're sure that as the fall auto shows ramp up we'll get more details of the cars design and of course how well it will sell when it hits U.S. dealerships next year as a 2012 model.
