Don’t even think about calling the new Chrysler 200 a Sebring.

Olivier Francois, the CEO and President of both Chrysler and Lancia, says that the second he drove the new Chrysler 200…he knew it was a totally new car.

In fact, not only is the new Chrysler 200 a new car but in Europe it will also be rebadged as a new Lancia.

Francois says that means that the 200 has to not only drive like a European car, but handle like one as well.

The new Chrysler 200 now comes with a choice of two engine. The base models four cylinder 2.4L or the 283 HP optional V-6.

Perhaps more impotently the car also comes without any slashes or striations…which were the much unloved trademark of the old Sebring.

Certainly the new Chrysler 200 now had a much more distinctive European feel and flavor. Perhaps the biggest improvement comes in the interior where Chrysler has made big strides to the fit, feel and quality of the design and materials.

But why not see for yourself by watching the exclusive TFLcar first drive video review below as we take the new Chrysler 200 thought the Sonoma wine country of Northern California.
