The Ariel Atom and Top Gear UK have become good friends over the years….and that friendship just got stronger in Season 16, episode 3 when James May tests out the craziest Atom of the them all.
What makes this latest Ariel Atom so crazy? To start with it has a V8 that puts our 500 HP, and of course that’s bolted to a super light body that’s more motorcycle than car.
In this latest Episode of Top Gear UK James takes the Ariel Atom V8 to the track in a classic battle against a Lexus LFA and a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera in a race from zero to 100 and back to zero again.
Of course the Stig also takes the Ariel Atom V8 around the track but only after after James battles a BMW S1000 RR.
