It was almost exactly a year ago that we had the chance to first sample the 2011 Touareg on the busy streets and beautiful country roads of Tuscany, Florence.
Volkswagen flew us to Italy to sample the various flavors of their new second generation high-end Touareg.
We had a chance to drive the diesel, hybrid and petroleum version of the car both on and off road.
Today you can go to your neighborhood VW dealership and test drive the car yourself, but there’s just something very special about driving a quintessentially German car on the very Italian streets of Tuscany.
