Here’s an odd fact. Many of today’s newest and most popular crossovers can’t go off-road…even though they have all-wheel-drive, and they also have the rugged looks and design cues of more traditional off-road worthy SUV’s.
Of course that doesn’t mean that they are not fun to drive or can’t take on a dirt or a snow covered road.
It just means that while they look like they could take you to Everest and back, they can really only get you to the supermarket and back on snowy afternoon or perhaps to your favorite fishing hole down a dirt road.
