This Japanese car crash is will go down as perhaps to most expensive Ferrari accident ever.

A total of 8 Ferraris, three Mercedes-Benzes, a Lamborghini, a Toyota Prius and an unspecified Toyota collided on a Japanese Highway this weekend.

The accident was caused by a single Ferrari Driver who lost control while ever taking another car in a  group of supercar enthusiasts who were heading to Hiroshima from Kyushu for a car show.

“The accident occurred when the driver of a red Ferrari was switching from the right lane to the left and skidded,” Mitsuyoshi Isejima, executive officer for Yamaguchi Prefecture’s Expressway Traffic Police said.

Instead the show became the Highway accident scene as several F360s and a white Testarossa, a Lamborghini, to name just a few of the exotic cars, created a mass pile up with damage estimated at $3.85 million.

The good news?

No one was seriously injured in the crash.

However the bad news?

Japanese Ferrari drivers now have a new “stigma” to add to their list of attributes.

“It was a gathering of narcissists,” Isejima said after the accident.
