The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo is no longer a secret car hidden under a sparkling silver sheet ahead of the Detroit Auto Show.

Just like the 2013 Ford Fusion and the all new Dodge Dart, the new Cadillac ATC has been exposed to the Internet’s bright lights before the big show debut.

We can report that the Hyundai Veloster Turbo will come equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo-charged engine that’s rated at 203 horsepower (or about 63 more horsepower than the current non-turbo), and is mated to a 6-Speed manual or automatic transmission getting 27 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the Highway.

It will directly compete with pocket rockets like the Honda Civic SI and the Golf GTI…to name just a few.

As you can tell by these leaked photos the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has a much more aggressive front facial and bigger and round dual rear exhausts. Of course it still has two doors on the passenger side, and only one on the driver’s side.

Inside the seats get the Turbo badges, and sportier side bolsters.

Stay tuned for more details.
