The new 2013 Ford Fusion (Mondeo in Europe) brings a healthy dose of sexy and stylish appeal to the mid-sized sedan segment.
Design elements can trace their genesis to Jaguar and even Aston Martin. There is just enough simplicity left over from the previous Ford Fusion to remind you of its roots. It is a refreshing change and a hint at all of the changes that have transpired under the skin.
But the new Fusion is entering an ultra competitive and ultra popular segment of the car world that includes the best selling car in America; the Toyota Camry and the second best selling car in the class; the Nissan Altima. Both vehicles have undergone significant changes too.
So the obvious question is how does the new 2013 Ford stack up against these segment leading vehicles?
We recently had the opportunity to time to spend with all three cars to compare them side by side in this Mashup video review. Ford brought The Fast Lane Car to Los Angeles and Malibu, California where we drove each vehicle. The Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion were similarly equipped and priced.
