Editor’s note: Volkswagen flew The Fast Lane Car out to Santa Fe, New Mexico to test drive the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid among other Jettas. Curiously, the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico is even higher than Boulder and Denver, Colorado – the places where we most often test vehicle’s 0 to 60 mph times. Santa Fe, NM is 7,260 feet in elevation whereas Denver, CO is 5,280 and Boulder, CO is 5,430. As we usually note, those elevations lower horsepower in internal combustion engines.

Keep this in mind when you see Roman’s reaction to the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid’s 0 to 60 mph time.
