The 2013 BMW X1 is the least expensive new BMW that you can purchase in the United States.

Of course, that’s the rear-wheel drive 4 cylinder version of the small crossover.

The 2013 BMW X1 xDrive 35i that has the the 300 HP engine and comes with all-wheel-drive is a bit more expensive as we found out when we took the BMW X1 for a drive and review.

And what TFLcar video review would be complete without a mile high 0-60 MPH test?

So, how good and how fast is the newest and smallest BMW Crossover?

Check out this fun and informative review to find out.

Editor’s note: It took about a week, but I finally figured out the BMW X1. At first, I thought it was a baby X3, but it’s not. Later I assumed that, given its relationship to the 3-Series, it was a smaller 3-Series wagon – which it is not. I was confounded and wanted to give up on the BMW X1 as it had no logical reason for existence; especially in its priciest as tested form.

Then I took it for a weekend jaunt to the mountains and it all became clear.

The 2013 BMW X1 is a BMW 1-Series wagon – simple!
