The 2013 all electric Toyota RAV4 EV may look like the 3rd generation RAV4 but don’t be fooled…the all electric SUV/Crossover is all new.

Under the hood is an electric motor that is capable of some very serious 0-60 MPH times for a big and heavy crossover vehicle as we found out in this video.

The new all electric 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV is capable of 103 miles of range and is rated by the EPA as having a combined 76 MPGe.

It is also one of the only all electric Crossovers that you can buy.

Of course you can only buy it in California and it will cost you almost $50K to go green.

Check out this TFLcar tech demo video as we learn about the new all electric Toyota RAV4 EV and we test to see how fast it can go from 0-60 MPH.

BTW: You can also watch a review of the gasoline-powered 2013 Toyota RAV4 HERE.

Editor’s note: How would you like to drive a Tesla Model S for about $50,000?

Well, you can (sort of).

The 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV’s power and battery technology was developed with Tesla it is very similar to what’s used in the Tesla Model S.
