All New 2013 Range Rover Off-Road Preview (Raw and Unedited)

2013 Range Rover

The all new 2013 Range Rover will most likely send most of its life cruising the boulevards of Los Angeles, New York and London and not the muddy, steep and sandy back-roads and trails of Arizona near the Grand Canyon.

But of course the folks who designed the new posh Range Rover want you to know that if you ever wanted to take the all-wheel-drive vehicle to the extreme….you could.

In this exclusive off-road TFLcar video preview we get the new Range Rover muddy and dirty as we test the limits of the new SUV’s off-road prowess.

Check out the video below as we preview our upcoming TFLcar First Drive Review of the Brand new 2013 Range Rover.

There have been some serious upgrades under the hood of the 2013 Range Rover, “Generous power combined with a responsive and refined performance characterize the 5.0-liter LR-V8 engine. A Variable Intake Manifold system substantially boosts torque throughout the rev range to achieve a peak output of 375hp, 510Nm. The engine has a lightweight, all-aluminum and compact design, with low levels of internal friction. CO₂ emissions are 299g/km, 9 per cent less than the previous model.”  – – Range Rover

According to Rover regarding  the Terrain Response®, “The Range Rover supports driver control and confidence across almost all surfaces and conditions: at the flick of a switch, patented Terrain Response® technology instantly reconfigures transmission, suspension, and traction settings for maximum drivability in almost all conditions. Gradient Acceleration Control prevents excessive speed downhill, and Hill Start Assist prevents the vehicle from inadvertently rolling backwards.”
