Ram has a new, industrial-strength, front-drive van in its fleet, the 2014 Ram ProMaster. The 2014 Ram Promaster debuted at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show and now has pricing listed below. Based on the proven FIAT Ducato, the 2014 Ram ProMaster has a flexible chassis that can be configured in multiple ways. The 2014 Ram Promaster is available with two different engines (a 174 horsepower, 3.0-liter I-4 “EcoDiesel” and a 280 hp, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6). Both engines are connected to a 62TE (six-speed) automatic transmission that feeds the front wheels.

The 2014 Ram ProMaster will have some serious competition coming from Ford and Nissan, but their take on professional-use vehicles is different than most. This is an aggressive strategy for Ram and we look forward to seeing just how user-friendly the 2014 Ram ProMaster is.
