Think of the the Jeep Wrangler Recon Stitch concept as a Wrangler Lite.

At just about 3,000 lbs, The Wrangler Stitch was designed to prove that less is more…at least when it comes to going off-road.

To reduce the weight of the Wrangler Jeep removed everything that wasn’t needed including the roof, radio, rear seats, doors, heater, AC and even body panels.

Jeep rolled out the Stitch at the 2013 Easter Jeep Safari. We were lucky enough to get a ride in one of the lightest factory Wranglers concepts ever built. Take a look at the video below to see the Stitch in action in Moab, Utah.
