Audi could not sit back and watch the all new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-class get all of the attention this year. The folks in Ingolstadt have been busy preparing the mid-cycle update of their flagship A8 and S8 sedans. Now Audi teases their refreshed cars with two short videos on their Youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/Audi). The cars are shown veiled in white silk, but it does reveal several close-ups as you can see here.
Audi shows us the front wheel with ceramic brake rotors hiding within. They also show off the new all LED headlight design. These headlights are not only for style. They are capable of intelligent lighting patterns to improve night driving for all drivers, not just the pilot of the new A8/S8. Audi will surely not disappoint with a host of latest technology throughout the new A8 and S8. But will the Audi have interior smell control like on the new Merc?
Expect to see these beauties in full on August 21 via the Audi internet channel. And you can also see them in the flesh at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show next month.
