Directed by Act of Valor director Scott Waugh, Need for Speed stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Scott Mescudi, Ramon Rodriguez, Michael Keaton, Rami Malek, Dakota Johnson and Harrison Gilbertson. Honestly, I don’t recognize any of these names, but that could be a good thing.

Spend the budget on the cars and special effects man!

If you’re like me, the story behind Need for Speed is almost inconsequential – just give me oodles and oodles of overpriced supercars slugging it out with hot chicks and good tunes. The rest of the story will fall in place. Hell, it pretty much did for the first batch of Fast & Furious flicks (although, the past few have been mighty fun to watch – I must say).

Alright, there is a bit of a story. Here’s Dreamworks’ take on Need for Speed:

“Framed for a crime he didn’t commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Aaron Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction.

Director: Scott Waugh

Actors: Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Scott Mescudi, Ramon Rodriguez, Michael Keaton, Rami Malek, Dakota Johnson, Harrison Gilbertson” – – 2014 DreamWorks

Dreamworks’ Need for Speed will be in theaters March 14th, 2014

Speaking of needing some speed, check out this video of the baby brother of the infamous Nissan GTR – the Micra!!!!!
