Nissan will take wraps off a more extreme Nissan Juke NISMO RS at the 2013 LA Auto Show this November. It will be accompanied by a second, yet undisclosed, NISMO concept. The NISMO RS version of the Juke is said to be producing from 240 to 270 horsepower, depending on the market. United States should get the higher 270 hp version.
We reviewed a 2013 Juke NISMO earlier this year and came away impressed. However, we wished for a bit more power and a manual transmission. Nissan is delivering more power, a lot more power! There is no word on any other modifications, but I am crossing my fingers for a 6-speed manual transmission. This must be our consolation prize, since the 545 hp Juke R will not be sold.
