The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show this coming Monday and TFLcar will be there to cover it, but here’s a darn good guess about what it might look like when it hits the stage.
This image comes from the guys over at Top Speed who put this together as a best guess, what we’d like to see, can’t stand the wait, idea. They based their rendering on spy shots that have been captured here and there, so it’s not a complete stab in the dark.
We also know a little bit before we’re supposed to thanks to a wee internet snafu. Chevy has already set up their microsite for the big launch and a google search gave up some tasty tidbits in the microdata earlier this week.
If the meta tag was correct, then the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will have 620 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Now, there’s always the chance that Chevy is just messing with us and they put up any old data in that meta tag, but it has since been removed.
Chevy is holding a special event at the Detroit Auto Show that starts at 9:30 am eastern with the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 scheduled to debut at 10:00 am eastern. At the same time they’ll be debuting the new C7.R race car.
