Here are a couple of spy photos of the all-new 2015 Ford Edge test mules testing in Arizona. We saw the Ford Edge Concept a few months ago at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It is packed with high-end technology and is powered by a new 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. The latest turbo engine is capable of around 270 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.
The next generation Ford Edge will feature a host of driver aides, which may include autonomous remotely operated parking and collision avoidance. These technologies were showcased on the Concept vehicle, but their exact release date is not yet known. It will of course have blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and other option that are already available. It will be wrapped in a new exterior and interior design.
Speaking of wrapped – these test mules are still wearing heavy camouflage. However, they are a little more finished as can be seen by the stylish trapezoidal exhaust outlets.
