2015 Toyota Camry Debuts at The New York Auto Show

2015 Toyota Camry Side

The 2015 Toyota Camry made its debut at the New York Auto Show with a full redesign that includes 2,000 new parts and an updated, sporty new look.

The new design is aimed at capturing what Toyota calls “Waku Doki” or heart-racing excitement and it does this by featuring a vehicle with every exterior part except for the roof getting an update. More spot welds to increase torsional rigidity, a new two-stage brake booster for smoother and more confident braking and a retuned suspension are all part of the package.

The most noticeable change on the outside of the 2015 Toyota Camry is the new bumper cover and big, aggressive front grille. There’s a new hood and bolder fender flares as well as an overall wider track to enhance its appeal.

Inside, the 2015 Toyota Camry has a new center stack with less complicated and more intuitive controls and improved trims to make it look and feel better. Premium models get French stitching, satin chrome, and metallic black trim.

New electronics include a 4.2-inch multi-information display that helps keep the driver’s attention on the road, a custom-tuned JBL audio system, audio screens up to 7-inches featuring the Entune system and a segment-first wireless charging system for your phone.

There’s also a new XSE grade with 18-inch alloy wheels and an enhanced suspension for the sportiest drive. Those looking for more luxury can opt for the XLE grade.

We’ll have video coming soon, but in the meantime check out this video of the mashup review of the 2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid and the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid…
