Battle of two different Engines [photo of the day]

TFLcar weighs the pros and cons of a traditional naturally aspirated V8 versus a new turbocharged I6.  Nathan brought a 5.0L Japanese V8.  Roman chose the latest iteration of the 3.0L German turbocharged straight six. The eight cylinder is powering the 2014 Lexus IS F, and the straight six is in the all-new 2014 BMW M235i.  The M235i replaces the 1-series in the United States and comes only in a two-door variety.  The 2014 IS F is the swan song for this generation of the iconic performance sedan.

The V8 makes 416 hp and 371 lb-ft and the I6 is 320 hp and 330 lb-ft.  The IS F is about 250 pounds heavier, so which car will be quicker at a mile above sea level?  Remember, oxygen is harder to come by at higher elevation.
