This 1947 Tatra T87 is a beautiful throwback to a different time. It’s on display at the Cussler Museum in Arvada, Colorado and museum curator Keith Lowden took some time to talk about the Tatra T87 for TFLclassics. Although Tatra no longer makes cars, in their heyday they were hugely popular in Czechoslovakia and were particularly favored by their military. Team TFLcar is currently picking up our very own Tatra as a part of our Prague to Pebble or Bust road trip so you’ll be seeing more from the iconic Tatra brand in the coming days.
Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars. Nicole also writes for NerdApproved and GeekMom.
