Land Rover has officially confirmed the name of the upcoming 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. This is basically a replacement for the current LR2 in the lineup and the next entry-level Land Rover. We caught Discovery Sport prototypes in the wild before, but these test vehicles had a unique diesel clatter. It makes sense that Land Rover turn to the turbo-diesel for more efficiency and little sacrifice in performance if any. A torquey motor is also great for off-roading.
Lets hope that the all-new Discover Sport will arrive sooner rather than later and have the diesel option to boot.
