Out and about today we caught a couple of great shots of the new 2015 Jeep Renegade high altitude testing. This time it was tow testing with a load hooked up to the back of one of the vehicles. We can’t say for sure, but we’re guessing it’s towing about 2500 pounds with that U-Haul trailer it’s got hooked up in the back. That’s well within the 3,300 pound stated towing capacity for this very off-road worthy crossover vehicle.
The 2015 Jeep Renegade will be built alongside the Fiat 500X in Melfi, Italy. That makes it the very first Jeep to be built exclusively outside of North America. It might be built over there, but the folks at Jeep are putting it to the test over here in the US.
