2015 mustang ford 6th generation

We are finally getting official information on the upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang.  You can also now configure the next generation pony car at ford.com.

The starter 3.7L V6 Coupe has a base price of $23,600 before the $825 destination and handling charges that apply to all models.  This represents close to a $1,000 increase over the previous generation V6.  The Convertible V6 starts at $29,100.

The all-new 2.3L EcoBoost I4 model starts at $25,170, which is actually less than the previous V6 Premium. EcoBoost Premium Convertible will set you back $34,670. Yes, the more powerful I4 commands a higher price over the returning V6.

The 5.0L V8 GT returns for 2015 at $32,100. The most expensive 2015 Mustang is the GT Premium Convertible, which starts at $41,600.

There is still plenty that we don’t know. Ford has not yet released detailed engine output specifications or fuel economy estimates. There is some dealer order guide information that suggests the most light-weight new Mustang will be the EcoBoost at 3,517 lbs.

We will have all the information and more Mustang videos for you this summer. In the meantime, take a look at the 2015 Mustang unveiling.
