Dodge Turns 100 With a Bad to The Bone Birthday Celebration [Video]

1973 Dodge Challenger

Back in 1914 the Dodge Brothers built the very first Dodge Motorcar and it was the first car to ever have a completely steel chassis. The two brothers and their new car were an instant success. One hundred years later and Dodge is still going strong and building incredible cars. They also threw one heck of a birthday celebration to commemorate the occasion. They brought out every manner of car from the earliest models to more modern muscle and trusted us all enough to take them for a spin and not just run off. Chargers, Challengers and more, oh my!

We shot some beautiful photos of the event and, for our 1500th TFLcar video, have a muscle-filled video showcasing 100 years of Dodge automobile production.

Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars.
