Ford is developing new auto tech that aims to increase the safety and security of drivers, even when they’re not in their cars. The technology currently in development is called Mobii and it works with your phone and in-car cameras in unique ways.

First, this new tech increases security by recognizing drivers. It can even send a message to your phone if it doesn’t know the person behind the wheel so you can approve any new drivers. Mobii also improves safety by seeing what you want and reacting. It can tell if a driver wants directions and automatically activate voice navigation, or if it’s a passenger, then it will allow manual inputs of the data.

Learn more about this developing auto tech and how Ford plans to use it in the future to increase the safety and security of your car.
