We’ve taken the 2015 VW Golf TDI and the 2014 VW Beetle R-line Turbo and done a review comparing the two, but now we’re putting those Volkswagens head-to-head on the track. The Beetle comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder with 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque all paired to an automatic. The VW Golf TDI has a 2.0-liter TDI with 150 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque hooked up to a 6-speed manual. See how these two VWs do when they’re stacked up against each other.
