2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

What was Dodge thinking when they made the 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat? Whatever it was, they must have had an evil grin on their face and they wanted to attract attention. Mission accomplished! They have created a full-size sedan that can accommodate five people while also running an 11.0 second quarter mile on street tires and topping out at 204 MPH! It’s a sledgehammer and a sophisticated one at that.

The mind-boggling acceleration comes courtesy of a 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 with 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. It sounds amazing and sends the thrust to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission (which is shared with the 2015 Challenger Hellcat ). The rear tires beg for mercy as the mighty blown HEMI can break them loose in most gears and at any slight application of the accelerator.
