The 2015 Ford Mustang GT combines the best of the traditional and the modern. It maintains the classic pony-car proportions and stance for an aggressive appearance. However, it’s packed full of the latest technology.
It’s still has the “Coyote” 5.0L V8, but it’s been updated to 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of twist on 93-octane. It drops the solid rear axle in favor of a modern independent suspension setup in the back.
The idea continues to the interior. The double-brow dash design is still there, but the gauges and the steering wheel are all about bringing the latest technology and an improved driving experience.
The GT may not be as light on its feet in the canyon as the 4-cylinder EcoBoost Mustang, but it has the 5.0L V8 soundtrack and highway gobbling ability of the American Icon.
