One week after setting a record for a naturally aspirated 2015 Mustang GT, running the 1⁄4 mile (11.2-seconds at 121 MPH), Bama Performance sets 10.4-second pass at 129 mph with their 2015 Mustang GT slurping a 150 shot of nitrous. Ford Racing held the previous record with their 2015 supercharged Mustang GT running the 1/4 mile in 10.97-seconds.

After completing their first runs with the naturally aspirated 2015 Mustang GT, they added a one-piece carbon-fiber driveshaft, (1,400 hp) axle half-shafts and a 150 shot of nitrous.

Their first runs at MIR were with the naturally aspirated 2015 Mustang GT modified for the track. They managed their fastest time right off the trailer before settling in for a series of slightly slower runs. The runs ended when Bama Performance had a technical issue.

One week later, they came back lighter, stronger and squeezing.
