The Fast Lane Car Show Episode #5 (TFLC5) is an automotive punch to the gut featuring the best of TFLcar segments.
This show is loaded with two new white sporty coupes – the all-new 2015 Lexus RC 350 F Sport and the BMW 228i. Of course, there is also the new for United States 2015 Chevy Trax sub-compact crossover. The Lexus RC 350 is not the all-out V8 powered RC F, but it’s 306 horsepower 3.5L V6 is still capable of propelling the RWD grand touring coupe 0-60 MPH in 5.8 seconds. It starts at $42,790 and can be optioned with all-wheel-drive.
The 2015 BMW 228i is company’s smallest sporty coupe. It benefits from a smaller size and relatively light weight. Power comes from a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with 240 horsepower. It starts at $32,100, but the price can quickly escalate to over $44,000 with all the goodies. There are also BMW’s optional xDrive all-wheel-drive system and the 235i model with lots more power.
The 2015 Chevy Trax is company’s smallest crossover. Think of it as a Chevy Sonic that is a little taller and has optional AWD system. The Trax is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged ECOTEC four-cylinder and starts at $20,995.
