The Toyota Highlander is playing catchup in November sales. The Highlander was the most improved full-size (three-row) crossover. It grew 16.7% over November of last year after selling 13,476 units. The Ford Explorer is still in the lead and dominating the segment with 172,707 units sold so far this year.

The Honda Pilot and the Chevy Traverse also had a successful month, although the Pilot is still way down for the year. The Hyundai Santa Fe has the volume to claim the third place, although it’s also counting the two-row Santa Fe Sport. The Hyundai is still the most improved crossover for the year. The Nissan Pathfinder continues to slide down after a successful launch of the new model. It’s about the same story with the GMC Acadia.
