Nathan is downright dangerous with the 2015 Volvo S60 T6’s supercharged AND turbocharged engine.

Nathan likes the 2015 Volvo S60 T6 Drive-E.  A lot.  Why wouldn’t he, what with its supercharged AND turbocharged engine?  Volvo has gone all power and efficiency on us with an Eaton supercharger and Borg-Warner turbo bolted on to a 2.0-L four cylinder that together belt out 302 HP and produce an impressive 24/35 city/highway MPG figure.

Watch Nathan’s video review of the 2015 Volvo S60 T6 Drive-E below:

Routed through a standard eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive, according to the manufacturer, the 2015 Volvo S60 T6 Drive-E registers a 0-60 MPH sprint in just under six seconds.  Pretty impressive, given the car’s environmentally-friendly, economical intentions.

The interior is typical Volvo plush, with supportive front seats and an intuitive control layout.  The infotainment screen is still a bit small, but Volvo says a completely revamped interior is in the works.  Rear seat room is decent, and the trunk is large enough to certainly fit a weekend’s worth of gear.

With a starting price of $36,075, the 2015 Volvo S60 offers good value amidst competitors such as the BMW 328, Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C300, and Cadillac ATS.  Taking into consideration the interior refresh which is likely to occur soon, the fast and economical S60 will give these historic class leaders a run for their money.
