With the plethora of annual Super Bowl commercials slowly trickling in, both Hyundai and Kia have leaked theirs ahead of Sunday’s big game. Theatrical superhero Pierce Brosnan has teamed up with Kia in this case to make his “Perfect Getaway” in the 2016 Kia Sorento CUV.
The commercial is scheduled to air during the third quarter of Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday. In the spot, Brosnan listens to a Hollywood agent pitching a starring role in an upcoming project. As the agent describes various scenes, Brosnan confidently interjects one movie cliche after another, wrongly assuming he and the Sorento will encounter danger at every turn.

The new 2016 Kia Sorento CUV is larger and more capable than its predecessor, with more room for passengers and cargo. Five trim levels are now offered, as are three engine choices, including a 240 HP, 2.0-L turbocharged inline-4. The Sorento is built at the brand’s U.S. manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia.
