2015 Toyota Camry

January 2015 remained red-hot for automakers, with multiple manufacturers’ odds defeating inclement weather to post best-ever January sales. The mid-size family sedan segment showed strength as the 2015 Toyota Camry narrowly locked in the number-one sales spot for the month. The Nissan Altima was within just a few hundred units of the Camry, handily outselling the number-three Honda Accord.

The 2015 Ford Fusion posted a slight decline with a -4.9-percent decrease behind January 2014, while the redesigned 2015 Chrysler 200 moved up to fifth place and bumped the 2015 Hyundai Sonata down a spot. Likewise seeing a slight decline was the 2015 Kia Optima. The 2015 Chevy Malibu and 2015 VW Passat showed just a slight uptick when compared to the previous year.

The 2015 Subaru Legacy was once again the best-improved midsize sedan with 41.9-percent growth.
