The 2016 GMC Terrain lineup gets a freshening for the upcoming model with exterior and interior updates. The 2016 Terrain Denali and other Terrain models will be shown this week at the 2015 New York Auto Show.

The 2016 models get a pronounced C-shaped lower chrome trim front and rear and that is the easiest way to spot the new crossover. There is a new “power dome” hood design, LED running light, new 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs.

There are new interior materials and updated center infotainment system and control graphics.

GMC has tweaked the trim levels and option availability to better match customer purchasing patterns.

Expect the same 2.4L four-cylinder and 3.6L V6 as the power choices. The four and FWD combination will return 32 MPG on the highway.

GMC has not released 2016 pricing changes (if any).
