The muscle-car wars are in full swing and will get even hotter on May 16th, 2015 when GM officially unveils the sixth generation 2016 Chevy Camaro. The company released two teaser images and an engine exhaust sound video to keep the buzz going.
The image of the exhaust header shows four runners. Naturally, this is one side of the Camaro V8 engine exhaust. The video below confirms it with an enticing V8 soundtrack. However, could Chevy also be hinting at a four cylinder engine option?
The 2015 Ford Mustang has the four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine. GM has a 2.0L turbo in its arsenal. Of course, it also has the 3.6L turbocharged V6. All of these are very interesting possibilities, but one thing is for sure. The next Camaro is not abandoning the good-old V8.
