The 2016 Ford Explorer has a new face. The sheet metal, grille and lights are new for 2016. There are also several other new details like the roof rails and tail lights.
There are two other very important updates. The 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine joins the Explorer lineup. It makes 280 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
There is also a new Platinum grade that combines all the features and the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine into one luxurious package. It comes with everything, so you don’t have spend time to decide on options.
