Motor Mountain USA – Out on the farm in Iowa [Video]

The Motor Mountain USA 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon at the highest point in Iowa

For this edition of Motor Mountain Monday, Emme Hall, in her first official Motor Mountain Monday appearance, joins Nathan Adlen as they travel to the highest point in Iowa.

Although the relatively flat terrain and lack of challenging roads didn’t even scratch the surface of the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock’s off road abilities, there was still plenty to see and do at Iowa’s highest point. Nathan even called it the best they’ve been to so far in terms of things to do.

Iowa’s highest point is Hawkeye Point in Osceola County, just south of the Iowa-Minnesota border. The 1,670-foot point is on an old farm and is designated by a mosaic compass. The site also houses a museum, an old silo, and a row of signposts that show all the highest points of all the states and their distance away from Hawkeye Point.

MMUSA Iowa Nathan and Emme

The Motor Mountain USA (#MMUSA or #MotorMountainUSA) epic road trip is a celebration of all things American and the road less traveled. Nathan, Roman, Andre and Emme are driving a 2015 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Hard Rock across the country to visit the 50 highest drivable mountain tops in all 50 states. Along the way, they will visit locations off the beaten path and the uniquely American attractions that make the United States one of the world’s top tourist destinations.

This trip is also about involving you in the adventure. TFLcar has commissioned 50 commemorative silver belt buckles, one for each state. We will leave a belt buckle somewhere in the state and will tell you the coordinates so you can find it. The first person to find it keeps it. The only requirement is you need to send us a picture of yourself with the belt buckle. You can tweet to us @TFLcar, Facebook us at TFLcar, use the #MMUSA, or #MotorMountainUSA hashtag, email roman@tflcar.com, or all of the above.
