Unleashing the Rezvani Beast: A Great Father’s Day Gift? [w/ Video]

Rezvani Beast

Another player has jumped into the supercar game, but is the Rezvani Beast really a game changer? Details about the Rezvani Beast were announced May of last year and the question remained if this high performance sports car would ever go into production. Today the Orange County, California builder has proudly announced that their lightweight, 500 horsepower sports car is now available and ready to burn up the streets or your favorite local track.

Power comes from a 500 horsepower 2.4-liter supercharged mid-mounted engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission (sequential automatic is optional). Superbike fast and exhilarating driving dynamics are backed up by a 2.7 second zero to 60 time and a top speed of 165 mph. The carbon steel chassis, borrowed from the Ariel Atom 3, has been stiffened even more and lots of carbon fiber parts keep the weight down to a playful 1,650 pounds.

The Rezvani Beast incorporates an advanced infotainment system supported by Apple CarPlay. Additionally, a lightweight carbon fiber flat-bottomed steering wheel weighing less than 300 grams (similar to a Formula 1 car) has been fitted and dressed with the marque’s eye-catching badge. Elsewhere we can see a digital gauge display as well as a host of switches and buttons around the instrument panel. Carbon fiber seats are also part of the interior package.

With the goal of getting people to enjoy the spirit of driving again without a lot of electronic nannies dampening the driving experience, Rezvani has delivered a sports car that is fun to drive and stunning to look at. Any dad would be happy to have it.

Priced at a reasonable $165,000, the Rezvani Beast is in the same ballpark as a Mercedes AMG GT S or Audi R8 V10.
