Motor Mountain USA – Minnesota

Emme Hall and Nathan Adlen trek to the highest mountain top in Minnesota, but they have to do the final stretch under their own power.

Challenged by mosquitoes and thickly forested terrain, the team reaches the summit of Eagle Mountain – the highest elevation in the state. It’s located near the Canadian border in the Cook County. The maximum elevation is 2,301 feet above sea level and it is a good 3.5 mile hike to get to the top from the trailhead.

The Motor Mountain USA (#MMUSA or #MotorMountainUSA) epic road trip is a celebration of all things American and the road less traveled. Nathan, Roman, Andre and Emme are driving a 2015 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Hard Rock across the country to visit the 50 highest drivable mountain tops in all 50 states. Along the way, they will visit locations off the beaten path and the uniquely American attractions that make the United States one of the world’s top tourist destinations.

This trip is also about involving you in the adventure. TFLcar has commissioned 50 commemorative silver belt buckles, one for each state. We will leave a belt buckle somewhere in the state and will tell you the coordinates so you can find it. The first person to find it keeps it. The only requirement is you need to send us a picture of yourself with the belt buckle. You can tweet to us @TFLcar, Facebook us at TFLcar, use the #MMUSA, or #MotorMountainUSA hashtag, email roman@tflcar.com, or all of the above.
