The community is in shock after learning that Justin Wilson, IndyCar Series racer, was involved in a serious racing accident at the ABC Supply 500 race at the Pocono Raceway on August 23, 2015.

(According to the INDYCAR Officials): Justin Wilson suffered a severe head injury during today’s event at Pocono Raceway. Wilson is currently in a coma and in critical condition while undergoing further evaluation at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa.

The incident happened during the closing laps, as race leader Sage Karam’s car spun out of control and hit the outside wall. The debris from Karam’s crash scattered across the race track. Wilson was a few seconds behind when a piece of crash debris (the nose cone) hit Justin’s helmet in and/or car near of the open cockpit. The debris bounced straight up in the air. Justin’s car veered to left as it slowed down and hit the inside wall.

Justin was quickly removed from his car and soon airlifted to the Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pa. (according to IndyCar officials).

Justin Wilson is a great friend of the entire TFL team. TFL team sends our prayers and best wishes to Justin and entire Wilson family and friends.

We are only hoping for full recovery.
