What is the highest road in the United States? It is the beautiful way up Mt. Evans in our home state of Colorado. It is also a milestone 25th episode in the 50-part Motor Mountain USA video series.
Check out this episode of the Motor Mountain USA as Nathan and Andre go to the top of the United States. The summit parking lot is at 14,130 feet above sea level (the summit itself is at 14,270 feet). The Mt. Evans road is only 20 feet higher than the top of the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Will the high winds and the 19F temperature prevent the guys from having a bunch of fun? The answer is without a doubt – no! The views alone are breathtaking.
One of the best ways of experiencing America first hand is hitting the open road with the windows and top down in the 2015 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock. The Motor Mountain USA (#MMUSA) team embarks upon an epic road trip this year by visiting the highest drivable roads of every state in the USA. Along the way Nathan, Roman, Andre and Emme will visit locales less traveled and uniquely American attractions that make the United States one of the world’s favorite tourist destinations.
We are hiding the Colorado belt buckle a little differently this time. We are not giving you the coordinates of where it’s hidden. Instead, you need to watch the video for clues and use your searching powers to locate it.
