Honda Project 2&4
Honda Project 2&4 | LA Auto Show
Honda has combined its motorcycle and automobile expertise to develop a concept car that is inspired by the world of 2&4 racing, where riders and drivers face off at the track to determine which is the ultimate form of travel. With Honda’s concept, dubbed the Project 2&4, the design team has attempted to end the debate by combining the best of both worlds by creating a roadster that provides the freedom of a motorcycle and road handling skills of a sports car. Peak output from a 1.0-liter V4 is an incredible 212 horsepower and 87 pound-feet of torque, with power sent rearwards via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Details were not revealed, but there are rumors that the new Impreza will be the first to have the company’s new modular architecture. Most likely a boxer four-cylinder will reside under the hood and all-wheel-drive will come standard. Keep watch for the production Impreza to be unveiled at either the Detroit or New York auto shows some time next year.
