Porsche Panamera Prototype Spied Without Camo in the Wild [video]

The 2017 Porsche Panamera will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show this October but why wait until the fall when you can see the 4-seat luxury sedan now without camouflage in this TFLcar Spy Hunting Video. This is easily the closest we’ve seen to a production body on the new Panamera — completely free of camouflage.

Originally introduced for the 2010 model year, the 4-door sports sedan grew to nine models available on two wheelbases and powered by five different engines. Who would’ve predicted that the Panamera would become one of Porsche’s best sellers, alongside the Cayenne, to handily outsell the 911, Boxster, and Cayman 2-seater sports cars worldwide?

The 2017 Panamera has been caught in the wild on numerous occasions, but we’ve got clean shots of the next generation German sports sedan while testing in the Colorado Rockies. The new Panamera will ride on the company’s all-new MSB platform, which features a mix of materials including aluminum, high-strength steel, and lightweight composites. This change will enable the car to weigh significantly less than its predecessor and some reports surmise the weight savings could be as much as 200 pounds.

Also, it would be a safe guess that the German sports sedan from Stuttgart to have a range of V6 and V8 powertrains, plus a plug-in hybrid option.
