It takes a lot of moving parts to produce a TFLcar Hot or Not Leaderboard video.
Not only do we film the car but we spend a morning at the racetrack filming the 0-60 MPH test as well as Paul’s fast lap. Next we head out onto the road and Roman films his commentary on what it is like to spend a week behind the wheel of the week’s test car.
The video production culminates in a studio filming session of the discussion portion of the episode. Today, for the first time ever, we compared two cars: the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata and the 2016 Scion FR-S. To give our fans a sneak peek of the upcoming episode we recorded the filming of the day’s Hot or Not production using Facebook live.
At the end of video session below Paul and Roman answered fan question including what cars they’ve owned, and why test cars are so much slower when testing in Denver than at sea level.
