It’s not just the color red. Instead, people looking to buy a new Dodge can choose between Redline 2K, Redline 3K, Octane Red or TorRed.

Those are just some of the many colors available from Dodge’s new palette of hues that were inspired by its muscle car era.

The limited edition colors will be on the 2017 Dodge Challenger, Charger, Viper, Durango, Journey and Grand Caravan starting this fall.

“Our heritage-inspired paint names highlight how the Dodge brand attitude permeates through everything we do, even a simple detail like a color name,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat – FCA North America. “For Dodge, the heritage-inspired names are more than just catchy ways to callout our paint – these names resonate with our customers, speaking to their personality, their car passion and their love of their Dodge.”

Not all colors are available on all models of Dodges. For example, if someone wanted to buy a 2017 Challenger and Charger, the colors available are Yellow Jacket, Granite, White Knuckle, Billet, Pitch Black, Maximum Steel, Go Mango, Octane Red, Redline, TorRed, Contusion Blue, Green Go and Destroyer Grey.

Some of those same colors are found on the other models such as the Journey, which also features color such as White Noise, Bruiser Grey, Vice White, Blood Orange and Olive Green.

For the Durango, the colors that are different from the other models are DB Black, Stout Brown, Blu By You and Bomber Brown.

The Grand Caravan only has Black Knuckle as a different color option from the rest.
