    1. I currently own a 2015 renegade 1.4 turbo 4×4 manual. I have been offroading every month since i purchased it in oct 2015 and over 20k on the odometer. I have not had any issues. I have alot of friends on jrog that own the automatic 2.4. All of the issues are related to the 2.4 and its due to the software and most are fixed with an update. I can tell you the renegade is better than the hrv, rav4,and crosstrek. Because it has more horsepower and a better 4wd system. It uses the abs to lock the wheel that looses traction in effort mimicking lock hubs its no in no way a wrangler but its the best suv for offroad in its class. And it stands out.

    2. Some models patriot Jeep Liberty Jeep Wrangler when being compared to its rivals are good vehicles me personally I’m a gm guy but I like jeep their usable off road vehicles with good performance for the money

    3. Well starting with the crosstreck I’ve driven one and it seems like a soulless vehicle not very enjoyable capable yes enjoyable no the Hrv a complete joke now to the renegade the vehicle the article is actually about looks decent but it looks like a awd Scion xB the cvt should be a option but not forced on people the looks are to subjective for me I’m sure a great vehicle tho jeep quality is always above average

      1. For some reason (not being sarcastic) I thought FCA (in general) had problems with quality. You’re saying “Jeep quality is always above average” – can you point us to a reasonably objective report\survey? Is your comment for the whole Jeep brand, or particular models?

    4. I traded my 2016 HR-V for a 2017 Crosstrek, and I am very happy I did. Starting with the fit and finish of my ‘Subie’, to the much more comfortable ride, the Crosstrek is a much nicer vehicle than the HR-V. Also, the Crosstrek is much easier to maintain a straight line on highways, including in heavy crosswinds.
